DNA Plan is the brainchild of award-winning genetic nutritionist Kate Llewellyn-Waters, who also founded in 2017 The What IF Plan®, the world’s first Intermittent Fasting Weight Management Programme based on your unique DNA.
DNA Plan is a personalised nutrition, health and wellness company, which has helped hundreds of people worldwide achieve their nutrition, fitness and health goals since we began. Led by our founder, Kate, who is an expert in nutrigenomics and has always been passionate about nutrition, health and wellbeing. Kate has over 14 years of nutrition experience and has completed a Masters in Personalised Nutrition, in which she was awarded a merit for her MSc. and for her thesis (‘The Role of Adiponectin in Insulin Sensitivity and Intermittent Fasting).
In 2018, Kate won the Practitioner Award for Nutrition at the 2018 Janey Loves Platinum Awards, which included notable judges such as Zoe Ball, Jo Wood, Carrie Grant, Dr Marilyn Glenville and Dale Pinnock
At DNA Plan, Kate is supported by several other MSc. qualified nutritionists, and nutrigenomic professors. Kate is also the author of The DNA Diet, which is the first book in the UK, which looks at genetically appropriate diets, weight management and wellness. She has appeared in several publications including: MailOnline, Women's Health, Sainsbury Magazine, Woman's Own, Top Sante, Women's Fitness, Metro, Healthy Mag, The Express and The Sunday Express.
Kate also devotes time to charity work and has provided genetic testing and guidance at no cost to many young people suffering from life-changing conditions, such as cancer, obesity and arthritis.
